What are the gym hours?

The gym is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm. 
On Sunday, we are open 8am to 4pm.

Why did the gym move?

The cost of maintaining the gym was more than double the amount of income brought in.  It simply was not sustainable long-term.  While we are saddened to lose the old building, we are very excited about our new space that will open July 5, 2021.  We are bringing the cardio and weight equipment and will have an exercise studio as well.  This new setup will be much more sustainable long term.

Where is the new gym?

The new gym is located just below the cabin complex at the north entrance to Point Lookout just across from Blake Vet.  It is now occupying the old school.  If you put our address (67 Atlantic Highway, Northport, ME 04849) into Google Maps, it will direct you to the new gym.

Will there be exercise classes?

In the future we hope to add some fitness classes, yes!  If you have any suggestions for specific classes or instructors, please send us a message through the "contact us" page.

Question 5

Can I play pickleball/racquetball/squash/basketball

Accepted Answer

No, the racquetball and squash courts, the basketball court, and the tennis courts were a part of the old building and are no longer accessible.  The new building has an exercise suite, cardio equipment, and weights. 
We understand this is disappointing for many gym members, however please remember that the old building cost a fortune to maintain and the owners lost many thousands of dollars keeping it open.  The new building is a fantastic alternative that keeps cardio and weight equipement available to the public and is financially sustainable for the future.
